All tour guests must be at least 12 years of age. Educational beer sampling is reserved for those 21 and over. We ask all guests to check in at the Tour Desk at least 15 minutes prior to your tour’s start time. We permit standby guests to fill open reservations not claimed 15 minutes prior to the tour. We don’t want you to lose your spot! We wish we could treat it like a roller coaster ride, but we allow only one brewery tour per guest per day.
At our California brewery, families with children under 12 years of age may take the self-guided tour at the mezzanine level any time between 10am and 6pm Monday through Sunday.

These shows reflect the heritage of the Big Room. With these shows, we pay homage to our history and our culture as a brewery and a community. We hope to reflect the past in our future in all that we do to keep us grounded and humble.

Customers can now purchase their dinner and dessert tickets ahead of time online or in the Gift Shop. These tickets are sold separately from General Admission tickets and must be purchased in advance. No tickets for food will be sold on site. You must have a General Admission ticket in order to fulfill your dinner and dessert tickets.

As with most restaurants and food operations, our food costs have been increasing. Sierra Nevada is focused on fresh, local, and quality ingredients. In order to maintain that value, we need to adjust our pricing accordingly. We aim to continue to provide the best in quality products and services, and can only achieve this with financial sustainability.

You can purchase tickets online or in person at the Gift Shop. Purchasing tickets online will be subject to our ticketing company’s fee.
We are pre-selling buffet dinner and dessert tickets to help us know exactly how much food to prepare. We have found that there are inconsistencies in preparing the right amount of food. We either have much waste or sell out of food. By pre-selling the tickets, we will be able to gauge our food estimates and costs more precisely, as well as cutting down on food waste.
Yes, we welcome visitors of all ages to our brewery, restaurant and live music shows. Public tours are for those 12 and over only. Please read our entire tour policy. Remember that anyone wishing to purchase alcohol must be over 21, with valid identification. Sierra Nevada Brewing Co., in accordance with California and North Carolina alcohol regulatory agencies, strictly abides by the Bona Fide I.D. requirements when determining drinking age. An acceptable form of I.D. must be issued by an Official Government Agency (Federal, State, County or City) and contain all of the following: name, photo, and date of birth, and must be currently valid. (Bona Fide I.D. is one card that contains all of these items).
At Heritage Shows, we serve a full buffet dinner from 6:00 – 7:30 PM, prior to the show time. Buffet dinner and dessert ticket are pre-sold online for each show. At any other concert, we will have snacks for purchase throughout the entire event.
The Big Room will host a variety of concerts, some with standing room only, some with theater-style seating, and some with a mix of the two. These shows will host up and coming, premier artists from all genres, including but not limited to rock, alternative, indie, hip-hop, R&B and much more.
Any show billed as Sierra Nevada Presents! will have the following features:

At Heritage Series shows, seats at the tables are first come, first served general admission. We do not allow tables to be reserved for the general public.

We generally offer at least seven or eight Sierra Nevada lagers and ales, a wide selection of wine, soft drinks, coffee, and water. No hard alcohol or non-Sierra Nevada beer products are served. Here at Sierra Nevada we want you to leave happy with your purchases. Any items purchased in our gift store, except food or beer, may be exchanged or returned at any time provided that the items are in new condition. For a full refund of the purchase price, a receipt must be provided at the time of return. All items returned in new condition without a receipt are eligible for exchange only.

Include your packing slip or a note specifying your name, order number, phone number, address, and what you would like us to do with your return (exchange for a different item or credit your card).
