On Saturday, October 11, Downtown Asheville’s Coxe Avenue will transform into “Little Germany” for the Asheville Downtown Association’s 5th Annual Oktoberfest, presented by Harmony Motors. Oktoberfest runs from noon to 6pm, with check in beginning at 11am.
The festivals are produced by a family of friends and funsters convinced that music is the soul of life, and that art enriches and saves lives.
That the experience is enhanced when embraced in the great outdoors amongst fellow music lovers. Better still in an intimate setting, where the distinction between artist and audience is blurred, and a passionate performance can be truly relished in close proximity to the stage. Add FREE water to patrons, no service charges on reasonably priced tickets, and well…..let the games begin.
Since its inception in 1965, The Head Of The Charles Regatta® has attracted hundreds of thousands of rowers to the banks of the Charles River. Come October, the tradition continues. It’s important for athletes and spectators alike to make sure they have all the proper information to navigate our event-filled weekend.
You are cordially invited to Sierra Nevada to celebrate the hop harvest – brewery style! Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. has invited over 50 breweries from across the country to join us in our estate hop field at our brewery in Chico, CA, for the 2nd annual Single, Fresh, Wet & Wild Harvest Festival. Many of the brewers do not sell their beer in Northern California, making this a unique opportunity to sample their offerings. Together we will celebrate hops and the brewers who love them.
