The peaceful Cape Cod scenery lives up to its famous reputation on the Ragnar course. Run on salt-weathered bridges, next to sand dunes and past white picket-fenced beach houses in the charming Hyannis Port. Take in the sights and some history too! Wave to tourists taking photos in front of Plymouth Rock and the Mayflower as you run by.

Rhythm and Brews

Historic Downtown Hendersonville’s Rhythm & Brews concert series, which grew to standing-room-only due to record attendance in its first year, has claimed the top honor for downtown events in the state’s Main Street program.
The series was recognized for excellence in the 2013 N.C. Main Street Awards competition, according to a news release from Historic Downtown Hendersonville Thursday. Rhythm & Brews claimed an Award of Merit, the top prize offered in the category of Best Downtown Special Event or Event Series.

Downtown After Five provides free live music concerts in downtown Asheville every third Friday, May through September. Thousands gather on North Lexington Avenue near the I-240 overpass, 5-9 PM for the free event, celebrating its 26th year!
