The local turnout for our beer release parties has forever blown us away. Of late, though, the sheer volume of folks who celebrate these occasions with us in our Taproom and Restaurant inspired us shift the fun to our Big Room—more space, top-notch acoustics for live music and a needed relief for our busy Pub team. We made sure the kick-off Big Room beer release party was a monumental one: Pale Bock returns!

Guests will sample the best dishes from restaurants reviewed and heralded in The Village Voice along with complimentary craft beer pairings.
Like we’ve long done in our Chico Pub, our Torpedo Room taps a special cask every Thursday. (For this event: 3 unique casks!) From 4–7 p.m., join us and Karl Ockert to learn about this classic English method of serving beer. Karl is the former brewmaster at BridgePort Brewing Co. and now boasts the Technical Director role for the Master Brewers Association of the Americas. What that means: he’s knows tons about beer and his job is to share his brain, so come indulge.
The Festival is an ALL-YOU-CARE-TO-TASTE extravaganza complete with the best craft beers for your tasting pleasure…..paired with the food of the Gods: BACON. Guests enjoy a souvenir glass plus 75+ of their favorite international beers and wines paired with delicious bacon dishes (VIP tasting included, general admission is alacarte.) The VIP Deck will host over 15 restaurant tasting stations featuring the BEST restaurants in the Triangle will be on-hand vying for the $500 Best Bacon Dish Prize and specialty tastes and beers throughout the day.
Sierra Nevada is proud to be the national beer sponsor of all Ragnar Relay events! At this event 12 friends pile into two vans and tag team run 200(ish) miles, day and night, relay-style. Sierra Nevada will be waiting at the finish line for all the runners and their supporters to serve delicious beer and cheer them on.
